Moving into your first home is certainly exciting, but it can also be quite nerve-wracking. You've probably just made the biggest investment in your life, which means that you've become very price conscious. However, now that you have your new house, you need to furnish it so that it can become a home. When it comes to furnishing your home, you may want to spend as little as possible, especially since you just spent so much on the house; however, while picking items with the lowest price tags can be great for certain things (think tablecloths, curtains, and shower curtains), there are certain items you are going to want to splurge on.

Refrigerators that supply water through the door of the fridge use a filter to create delicious, clean water. Over time, the filter will need to be changed to keep the water tasting great. Many refrigerators have some sort of alert that lets you know when it is time to change the filter. Look on the front of the refrigerator on the area where the drinking water comes out of the refrigerator or inside of the refrigerator for a small light that is marked filter.
